Prince Albert His Life and Work

Price: £9.99

By Hermione Hobhouse

This handsomely illustrated book tells the story of Prince Albert's life with particular reference to his work. It shows him as family man, private collector, patron and philanthropist, landowner, and private secretary to his wife Queen Victoria. It is probable that overwork contributed to his early death, and this book proves how considerable was his influence in many fields.

Published to coincide with an Exhibition with the same title at the Royal College of Art in 1983/84 and sponsored by The Observer with Midland Bank Group.
