Welcome to the Home page of the Crystal Palace Foundation
It was in July 1979 that a group of enthusiasts came together to form the Crystal Palace Foundation dedicated to preserving the history of the Crystal Palace. One of their aims was to create a museum on the site. This was achieved in June 1990 when the Crystal Palace Museum opened.
