Racing at Crystal Palace

Price: £14.99

By Phillip Parfitt

This is a really well crafted book that covers everything at Crystal Palace , from the early days of 'path racing' right through to effective closure in 1972. Along the way Phillip misses nothing, misses none of the events, misses none of the stars of this brilliant race track in South London. If you never experienced the thrill of formula two cars on this track, never witnessed formula three 'screamers' banging wheels, never saw formula fords try to take North Tower four abreast, then you missed a lot of sensational motor racing. You didn't see bikes or sidecar outfits here? Well, you missed a lot. Don't worry though, the essence and spirit of all that made this such a great track is all in this superb book.
