By David Roy, Ian Bevan, Stuart Hibberd and Michael Gilbert
Arthur Tempest Blakiston Dunn (1861-1902), arguably the best footballer of his generation, was dedicated to instilling the qualities of sportsmanship into the young men coming through the public schools. After his untimely death at the age of 41, a football competition between the old boys of certain schools was inaugurated in his memory. The first final was held at the Crystal Palace in 1903 and has continued at various venues ever since.
This book was published in 2003 to celebrate the Centenary of the Arthur Dunn Cup and provides a comprehensive history of the competition and the clubs taking part. The book is a lavishly illustrated hard back book with many contemporary photographs, including team photos and action shots, from all periods of the Cup’s 100 year history.
Hardback with dozens of illustrations
