This detailed map covers the NE area of Croydon, from Sundridge Road eastward to Ham Farm, and from Ferndale Road southward to Bingham Road. In the NW quarter are Woodside and part of South Norwood, including Portland Road, St Luke's church, Woodside Green and Woodside & South Norwood station; in the SW is part of Addiscombe, including Lower Adddiscombe Road, and Woodside Court. To the east is a rural area, with Beckenham Golf Course in the centre. To the SE are Shirley Schools, founded in the 1880s as a holiday home for the poor (and demolished in 1970 to make way for Shirley Oaks Village). There is a good selection of street directory entries on the reverse.
