90 Years of Indoor Bowling |
1995 commemorated the 90th anniversary of the innauguration of Crystal Palace Indoor Bowling Club.
The Crystal Palace Indoor Bowling Club - the oldest bowls club in England founded by Grace in 1905 produced this 32 booklet of club and Crystal Palace history (including the 1995-1996 fixture list).
Crystal Palace Indoor Bowling Club this year celebrates its 90th nniversary and it gives me great pleasure to offer my congratulations and provide the introduction to this special souvenir booklet. I trust you will enjoy reading this brief hi tory of our great club. I thank Ron Holton, our "Life Member Extraordinaire" for the compilation of his personal recollections and his research. I also extend my thanks to the Crystal Palace Foundation for their assistance and to our Company Secretary Jim Bright for bringing the history up-to-date and producing it in this format.
My thanks to the 'Great Doctor' for having the foresight and will to start it all off.
