This is a detailed account of the history of cricket played by W. G. Grace in the grounds of the Crystal Palace in Sydenham.
The book covers the history from the earliest days of the Kent County Club in the 1860's to the formation of the London County Cricket Club by the Crystal Palace Company in 1899 with Grace as secretary to its demise in 1908.
