Sydenham Fire Station was a Metropolitan Board of Works fire station which was located on the north eastern edge of Crystal Palace Parade (close to the present television aerial) and was operational from 1869 until 1914/15. From c1921 until c1959 the buildings were used as Crystal Palace Trustees and staff residences.

An area immediately behind the fire station was used as a camping and caravan site for visitors to the 1951 Festival of Britain.

A list of all known staff, families and residents names are included 1869-1959.

Including many press cuttings of incidents attended 1868-1906.
